During the late 19th century when Italian espresso became popular, the Ceccarelli family fell in love with the charming brown liquid and driven by a strong passion they established Barsetto Caffè.

At the earlier stage of its operation, the restaurant mainly offered foods and coffee and was a place frequented by tourists and local residents and gentlemen for socializing and talking about business. During the 1920s, the increasingly reputable Barsetto Caffè began to bake and supply coffee beans on a small scale to itself, retailers and other restaurants. Today, its only store is still running in its original location.

As a typical Italian family, the Ceccarelli pursues stability, specialization and perfection. The professionalism of “perfecting every detail in the professional field”, after more than a century, continues to be a philosophy followed by the restaurant and Barsetto brand run by Dr.Ing.L.Ceccarelli, the fifth-generation successor. For this reason, the reputation of Barsetto comes from its high quality.
